The Youth Parliament was organised by the Qubate Club of Kumaraguru in collaboration with the Department of Political Science,KCLAS on 22nd and 23rd of May, 2021. The event started on a positive note with the welcome address by the President of Qubate, followed by the Presidential Address of Dr D S Makkalanban,  HOD, Department of Political Science. The chairperson and the Vice Chairperson for the committee of Lok Sabha were Shuvmay Chakraborty and Nupur Temani respectively. With 40 Delegates on board the event took off for two days , four hours each. The agenda of the event was ‘Will the reservation in private sector post a barricade in India’s future ?’ The best delegate was given to Mr Bala Nishanth, for his ability to inculcate his own ideas in the character play of Shashi Tharoor. The main motive of this event was to arouse the youth with the sensation of oneness even after having disagreement and help them learn to take decisions keeping in mind the needs and after impacts of every move. The motive was visibly reached as the Parliamentarians were able to successfully perform the functions of Parliament,  efficiently. The Chair and Vice-chair were appreciated for their patience and clarity whereas the delegates were noted for their behaviour as well as their overall skill as a Parliamentarian.
