WHEN AND WHERE IT FORMED?
The World Amateur Radio Day was celebrated all over the world on April 18. The Union of International Amateur Radio was first formed in April 18,1925 in Paris to support Amateur Radio worldwide.

OPERATORS :
Today, there are more than 3,000,000 operators in amateur radio who are all licensed. World Amateur Radio Day is the day when IARU (International Amateur Radio Union) Member-Societies can glow the capabilities to the public and enjoy global friendship with other Amateurs worldwide.

BAND PLANS:
Band plans are there to give guidance radio amateurs on the optimum use of spectrum. Some band plans are HF band plan and VHF and up band plans.
HF BANDPLAN:
The modifications of the Region 1 HF band plan become effective as soon as getting approval by EC. It is a preliminary policy governed on June 1, 2016. Still C4 Committee recommends modifications at the Interim Meeting in 2016 at Vienna.
VHF BANDPLANS:
They have been still continuously accessed and many come to been arranged like: One bandplans currently valid from 50 MHz untill 250 GHz.
During the tri annual IARU Region one Conferences, only some considerable modifications had been made.

COMMITTEES :
There are five Permanent Committees. Their work is to act in an advisory capacity. Also have aim of considering policies and coordinating activities in the related parts of the radio frequency spectrum or Regional activity.

IMPORTANCE OF AMATEUR DAY :
For all of Amateur Radio, April 18 is an opportunity to tell the people to celebrate and tell the world about science that we can teach them, and also share them about our community service.

“Celebrating Amateur Radio’s Contribution to Society.”
