In today’s market there are two processor brands namely intel and AMD ruling the industry. In this report we are going to analyze about intel CORE processors. In processors we need to look after the following features:

1. Cores:

In i3, i5 and i7 there will be minimum of 2 cores and for the maximum till 4 cores – 8cores will be present in the chipset based upon the processors and the respective generations. Single CORE performance will be higher in intel.

2. Hyperthreading:

3. Clock speed:

i3 CORE processor:

In i3 it has two cores and hyperthreading is enabled. Cache memory will be lower, i3 is a lowest great processor. i7 CORE processors:

i7 has a support of 2 core, 4 core, octa-core. 2 core is found in normal portable lap-tops. In heavy gaming lap top the performance must be quite better, also the battery consumption is considered to be extraordinary if so, it is a good choice to go for quad core. For desktop systems, octa- core processors are fit enough for the performance.

Hyperthreading is procured to enhance the performance. But one thing i7 is considered for high budget users. i7 is top level in performance, gaming aspects, editing and professional works, latest generation processors bid a better performance, turbo boost is given. In addition to this cache memory is up to 8MB. As the cache memory is more, the performance is more. i9 CORE processor:

It has a 10 core, 20 threads a massive processor for the uses. Acts like a beast for editing purpose, holds a trademark standard symbol for gaming, because of the boost clock it boosts around 5.0GHz and has a base clock of 3.8 GHz. If you want to boost much more a good motherboard and cooler must be integrated for overclocking. TDP is around to 125w, more power consumption will be acquired in the usage of this processor.
