Recognition is the greatest motivator

College life makes every student to undertake a journey from a pebble to shine like a diamond. KCLAS is no exception to it and in  fact, goes an extra edge in inculcating all the essential skills to tide in the ever – dynamic world after one steps out of college too. A few important milestones make this college journey enchanting, memorable and impactful. One such milestone which I shall fondly remember when I look back at my college life is receiving the ‘Best Young Researcher Award 2020’.

It was offered as a part of ‘IJMTST Research Excellent Awards 2020’, offered by the International Journal of Modern Trends in Science and Technology ( IJMTST, ISSN:2455-3778), an ISO 9001:2008 Certified International peer reviewed, online journal, that is published monthly by Engineering and Science Research Publication.

Involving nomination, resume submission and then post – scrutinization, the results were declared and it was overwhelming to be a recipient of the award! The major highlights in my resume that paved a path to receive the award were five presentations in  International and National Conferences, one publication in UGC Care Journal and four Research mini projects undertaken for prominent events like Azim Premji University’s Social Enterprise Challenge, National Children Science Congress, etc. Also, being a Research Associate at Rè, KCT is an extra add – on.

But, appreciation and recognition isn’t a destiny that was aspired but a beginning of a more focused journey as, recognition is the greatest motivator. Also, by strongly believing that the  roots of  true achievement lie in the will to become the best you can become, I’m keeping my wheels rolling to stretch out to reach even greater heights!

Finally, I’m gratified and grateful to the management of KCLAS, School of Mathematics and all faculty members and friends for offering a great support in every achievement of mine.
