The league of motor-sport enthusiasts of KCT came together to design model and fabricate Formula Car under the aegis Team Sakthi Racing. This automotive platform offers a great learning space for the aspiring vehicle designers and the Team Sakthi Racing (Formula Student team of KCT) secured an overall position of 8th out of the 129 teams which participated from all over India in SAE Supra 2019 (Formula Student Competition) held at Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh between July 15 and July 20, 2019. The objective of the competition is to simulate real-world engineering design projects and related challenges. Team Sakthi Racing aimed to create a safe, easily transported, easily maintained and fun to drive prototype, focussing on gradability, durability and maneuverability. It is indeed a proud moment for Team Sakthi Racing to bag the second position in the state of Tamil Nadu.
