Swami Vivekananda’s Remembrance Day is an online event to look back life of Swami Vivekananda right from his birth and to enlighten his vision and mission in the minds of the participants.
Today, the world remembers Swami Vivekananda, a social reformer and spiritualist who traveled the world spreading the teachings of India’s ancient faith. He was one of those rare great men who worked to expand the boundaries of human freedom by increasing man’s confidence in eternal truth. We will be eternally grateful to him for instilling individual liberty, social equality, and justice into the Indian culture. Even today, his ideas and his views serve as a beacon for us.
To commemorate the 119th death anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, we the NSS_RRC_VBC club of Kumaraguru College of Technology, paid honor to Swami Vivekananda by accepting a vow. On the 5th of July 2021, we held an hour-long meeting through MS Teams. The staff coordinators of our club Sathyamoothy Sir and Naveen Kumar Sir spoke about Swami Vivekananda’s accomplishments and how his quotes motivated them.
In this meeting, we made the participants to revive the memories of Swami Vivekananda’s life and his teachings. Swami Vivekananda’s life and message will always perform wonders for the advancement of our youth. He will continue to inspire humanity as a voice without form, as he himself stated. As an outcome our attendees are encouraged to make a vow in memory of Swami Vivekananda and to follow his principles. The gathering was then brought to a close with a pledge from over 40 participants.
