Silver Jubilee Reunion of the seventh batch (1990-1994) Alumni of KCT was celebrated in with an august presence of 120 Alumni Members from various parts of the globe on 26th July 2019. Shri Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent welcomed the gathering and stress the imperative role played by alumni in the development of the institute by setting up laboratories and encouraging students to visit institutions of excellence outside India. He also stressed the importance of establishing key role in industry institute interface. He strongly sowed the seeds for future alumni meet, that it is set to become a value network in the years to come.

The Batch of Alumni felicitated the Retired Professors of the Institute. All the Alumni were filled with jubilance to be around the places and buildings where they started to dream their career, when taken for a campus tour. Later they were taken to Forge Accelerator to know about the various ongoing projects. Tree plantation was done by the Batch. Dr. J. Senthil, Principal of KCT was also present during the event.
