Kumaraguru Institutions celebrated the 73rd Independence Day in KCT on 15.08.2019. Shri Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, was escorted by the NCC Cadets to the flagpole where he unfurled the tricolor. Following the National anthem, the NCC Army – Boys Wing, NCC Army – Girls Wing and NCC Air Wing performed various feats of valor much to the appreciation of the audience. Shri Shankar Vanavarayar in his address, ardently elaborated on the supreme sacrifice of the great leaders & freedom fighters and the social responsibility that every young Indian owes to work united towards a progressive India.

He fondly remembered the martyrdom of our Alumnus Late. Squadron Leader H.Vinod and further enunciated that every Indian should use his tool to strive hard together for the development of our nation.

The students from Agam Club kept the audience enthralled with their Yogasana performance. This was followed by the showcasing of vehicles engineered by Team garage – Team Sakthi  Racing, Team Zeall, Quad Bike Design & Racing Team Legion and Team Belitzkrieg which won laurels at the National Forum. The event was embellished with the presence of Captain Prithvi Pandian, Aeronautical alumnus of 2016 batch who is currently commissioned at Punjab.
