In KCT we say ‘Character is life’. Sports build one’s character and help reflect it at the right time. In many lives sports has been the key to open the magical doors to success. Sports always pushes one forward to do something that an ordinary wouldn’t do. If laboratories in colleges are meant for honing technical skills, sports, grounds, and courts are for their life skills

The play arena is a unique laboratory which teaches and allows students to experiment the life by imbibing a vast range of verticals within every sportsman. In a way, sports always makes us more organized and self-disciplined.

To inculcate the sportsmanship spirit Kumaraguru has been celebrating this sports fest for the past 15 years in the name of Arutchelvar Dr. N. Mahalingam Rolling trophy.
