ACM – Association for Computing Machinery, which is the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society, brings together computing educators, researchers and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources and respond to challenges in the field, influencing thousands of young people and helping them provide various possibilities to improve their abilities.

KCT ACM Student Chapter is initiated to collaborate young minds and strive towards the goal in Technical as well as non-Technical. We also envision for enhancing the skills and innovation in computing amongst the students of Kumaraguru College of Technology, through its vast network, events, talks, workshops, and contests, which opens doors to every student.

The launch of the chapter was held on 9th of April in the year of 2021. Dr. Alamelu, HOD IT & Faculty Coordinator KCT ACM Student Chapter delivered the welcome address.

Dr. Jayant Haritsa, President ACM India Council, delivered the chief guest address and gave a brief introduction about the ACM, ACM membership, and the benefits of being a part of the ACM.

The office bearers for the year 2020-2021 were introduced and the team explained about the projects which were undertaken by them.

The Inauguration was mainly focused to launch the KCT ACM Student Chapter in our college and make the students know about the chapter and the benefits of being part of the chapter.
