Build immunity! Beat stress!

In the celebration of seventh international day of yoga, Agam forum conducted event to create an awareness on “Yoga for wellness” which is proposed as the theme of the international day of yoga 2021. Events conducted on the topic build immunity! beat stress! for 5 days which consist of yoga session for 2 days and workshop for 3 days.

“Yoga is a light which once lit will never dim, the better your practice the brighter your flame.”

Yoga session:

Day 1 (21.6.2021):

The session focused on mental health, confidence and balance in life. It includes warmup, surya namaskar, asanas and meditation. Participants practiced such activities in that day and felt rejuvenated. Their mind was relaxed which made them ready to work throughout the day. Meditation really helps in realizing one’s inner peace and visualizing the power within.

On day 1, more than 40 participants got benefited from our session.

“The nature of yoga is to shine the light of awareness into darkest corners of the body.”

DAY 2 (22.6.2021):

This day activities focused on immunity and physical fitness, which includes warmup, surya namaskar, breathing exercises, asanas. These were keenly observed and practiced by participants. The benefits of such exercises are much more to maintain a healthy body and boost our immune system. This practice would help them to fight against pandemic situation with strong mind.

On the last day of yoga session 30 participants got benefited .

“Yoga teaches you to be joyfully curious about the inner world.”


Day 1 (23.6.2021):

First day of workshop was based on immunity and concepts like types of immunity, immune system, the way it works and so on. The benefits of yoga poses and asanas were well explained by comparing with other daily activities. The awareness on Covid also given by the resource person. The participants had many doubts on vaccination which were also clarified.

On day 1, more than 50 participants got benefited from our workshop.

“It is health that is the real wealth, and not pieces of gold and silver.”

DAY 2 (24.6.2021):

This day covered the topics such as importance of water, nutrients, healthy diet supplements, immunity boosting foods. India stands first in the world as diabetic capital. Therefore, diabetes is most profoundly seen in many people. Balanced diet and healthy life style for diabetic people were shared. Habits to maintain the body clean and fresh were also discussed.

On day 2, more than 40 participants got benefited from our workshop.

“To ensure good health: eat lightly, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life.”

DAY 3 (25.6.2021):

Healthy is the word, which states a good condition of person physically, mentally and socially. Hence, this day focus the importance of mental health which is drastically affected among most of the people including the students in this hard situation by various factors. The session handler effectively depicted the causes of stresses in life and also shared ideas to manage and relive from those stress.

On the last day of workshop 41 participants got benefited .

“The secret of good health lies in successful adjustment to changing stresses on the body.”

Therefore, this event summarizes immunity boosting and stress relief related asanas, breathing exercises and health tips which will help the common people to overcome this pandemic situation with confidence. This could be great help for the students and people in stress and depression, to enhance them with good mental health and stress free mind.
