Fusion Art was a Sketching event conducted by the Varnam Club in Yugam’21 virtually. The event remarked a different theme of recollecting our childhood memories we had with cartoon characters. To bring out one’s individual way of creating cartoons and caricatures, the concept of Fusion was brought in. The theme Hybrid Cartoon Characters was chosen to explore the borders of innovation. The submissions for the event were collected through Google Forms. We received nearly 30+ participants from various colleges in Tamilnadu and other states. The artworks were creative and thoughtful. The Result Announcement meeting was held on 4th April 2021, 5 PM through MS Teams. The Judge of the Event, Ms. Deekshita judged the artworks eminently and appreciated the works of all the participants. She also shared her experience with Fine Arts and encouraged everyone to explore more in the Art. The winner of the event was Mr. Adharsh J from PSG College of Arts and Science and the runner of the event was Ms. Pavitra Ravi from Kumaraguru College of Technology.
