The event BLISS YOGA was conducted in order to teach how to lead a healthy life, personality development, importance of yoga in our day to day life and also helps in spreading awareness about the benefits of yoga through online sessions.

Though this event was conducted every year, this time it was extremely usefull for every participants during this pandemic situation.

The event held for 7 days from (21/06/2020) to ( 27/06/2020) at  5.00 pm  to 6.00 pm through google meet.

Day1:  “THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA” The session was given by Mr.P.Sashi, Advance yoga teacher, Art of living foundation. A lot of new breathing techniques was learnt   from this general and simple yoga session.

” Yoga begins right where I am – not where was yesterday and where I long to be”

From the second day onwards, peers of agam forum taught yoga on different topics on each day.

Day 2: HEALTHY BODY

Staying healthy physically can help us stay healthy emotionally too.if our body is strong ,it will help us to cope up with stress and also fight illness. Here the main focus was given  to cure digestion problems and body pains through yoga and food habits.Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease.

“Take care of the body . It is the only place we have to live”.

Day 3:  FITNESS

This session focuses on  fitness. which helps to be more fit mentally and physically. Fitness helps us to reduce extra fat in our body.It is now considered as a body’s ability to function efficiently, to be healthy, and to resist hypokinetic diseases.

“Fitness is not about being someone else…It is about being better than you used to be”

Day 4: IMMUNITY

The immune system protects us from various diseases. Now-a-days increasing the immune power is the only way to get rid of  diseases .Especially in this pandemic situation. This yoga session mainly focused on asanas, pranayama, meditation and general health tips which powers our  immune system.

” Yoga adds years to your life and life to your years”.

Day 5: CONFIDENCE AND BALANCE

Confidence and balance are the most beautiful things one can possess.  These  things are important for a person who runs their life successfully. This is not only for the mind but also for our body .Yoga is like life, it Is a balance of holding on and letting go..

“The secret to life is finding the right balance to everything you do…..”

Day 6: MENTAL HEALTH

Mental health, which is important in every stage of life particulary more important for us during these lockdown days. Most of us will be into depression and anxiety. This session helped to overcome it.

“Everything is created twice, first in the mind and then in reality”.

Day 7:  MINDFULNESS

 which will make us calm and composed .This help us to begin our day in a fresh and clear way. Mindfulness is the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something.

“With mindfulness you can establish yourself in order to touch the wonders of life that are available in the moment “
