Safety should never be a priority. It should be a precondition.
– Paul O’Neil

In today’s era, road accidents are rampant. However, mortality rates have come down significantly due to improvements in automobile technology. Nevertheless, there are many potential hazards on the road that can cause injuries or even death.

All the dangerous situations can be easily avoided if road rules are strictly followed and vehicles are well maintained.

Hence we the Road Safety Patrol of KCT had organized the event called சுவரொட்டி🖼️🚦

The main motto of this event is to create awareness in various aspects like using seat belts, no rash driving, no drunk and drive, no lane cutting and avoid the usage of mobile phones while driving.

Finally, we got 20+ participants who came up with fantastic posters. We able to virtualize and realise the importance of wearing seat belts, not to drunk and drive, not to change lane wrongly, not to drive rashly from the responses. The winners are Sowmiya M from ECE department, Iswarya M from CS department and Averin Jebina E from Civil department.

Road safety is very important for people of all age group to be safe and secure as well as reduce the number of road accidents and injury cases. So, everyone should strictly follow all the rules, regulations signs of road traffic lights.

Safety is not automatic, think about it.
